Idea Napkin No. 2 - Assignment 19
Me: I am a senior at UF, finishing up my degree in Business Administration. I would like to start this business idea once I graduate. I have had several internships where I have had to think about how to improve the costumer experience or meet their needs. I work well at solving problems and am very perseverant.
What am I offering to costumers: I am offering a service that would help people with busy schedules complete their list of weekly errands without sparing hours out of their day to do them. I would offer a service with exceptional costumer service and rewards returning costumers. This service would offered quality service at a great price.
Why they care: Costumers would care about this service because they can get their errands done without having to do it themselves. They would be able to use the time that they usually spend running errands on other activities. These costumers are people that work long weeks, university students, old people that cannot drive. The costumer is the person that cannot spare time to go run errands or cannot physically go run errands.
Core competencies: My core competencies is that I am very analytical and work well with people. I am very perseverant and finish what I start. What sets me apart is that I am able to see problems and solve them quickly as possible.
I think that these elements work very well. I think that my previous experience and my competencies would allow me to start my company and run it. I think that with my competencies I would be able to assemble a great group to work with me and complement each other's strengths.
Feedback: For the first napkin idea people highlighted how well my competencies would help me out for the business so I reflected more on what I can bring to the table and included more in depth attributes that I bring to the table. This feedback also allowed me to define how this makes me unique. I also received feedback asking for a clearer definition of my costumer so I was able to expand the costumer that would use this service.
Hey Maria, I like your feedback including what you changed on your idea napkin. I can see how you expanded the definition in your customers and how this will further help your idea flourish. I also think its great that you included your own competencies this way you can see more of your strengths and how to use them adequately.
