Final Reflection - Assignment 30

After looking through all the assignments for this class I was surprised at how much I accomplished. I saw how my ideas and concepts developed and each time they had more life (closer to a reality). I definitely enjoyed thinking outside the box and developing a "company" concept from a simple idea and wrapping up with a solid venture concept. At the beginning of the class I was unsure about peer reviews as sometimes people don't take the time to really look over what I wrote. However, the people in my group always gave me great feedback and I enjoyed reading about their ideas. I think that the best thing I got from taking this class was how to really explore the ideas I come up with and how to adapt my mindset to expand the concept of my ideas. I also learned a lot about time management and motivation. This class really required motivation to do the assignments right. It required motivation to go beyond the minimum requirements to really understand your ideas and take your idea further. It also required a lot of time management as the assignments were not short and could not be left until the last minute. I think that after taking this class I definitely developed a different mindset towards entrepreneurship. I learned more about myself and how I approach risk, ideas and how I develop and change concepts. For the students taking this class I recommend that they set aside some time each day to tackle parts of assignments so that you are not overwhelmed by the workload if you leave it for last minute. I would also recommend that they put in a little more than the minimum requirements as it motivates you to really invest yourself and believe in the idea that you are developing. Finally I would tell them to really consider the feedback they receive and that they give good feedback to their group members.
