Bug List - Assignment 2

The List:

1. When people are not on time
• People might not arrive on time due to an unforeseen circumstance. 
2. When people are rude
• Sometimes people are rude because they are having a bad day and do not realize that they are being rude. They also might be rude because nobody has called them out on it.
3. My devices all have a different charger
• The devices might have different chargers because they are not all the same brand or they might need different adapters for the amount of energy they need.
4. Getting from Gainesville to home or home to Gainesville is a long trip and expensive
• Home is Guatemala which is not exactly near Gainesville, there is no direct flight to Orlando (the nearest airport) so I have to buy connecting flights which is an added expense and more travel time. 
5.  When people are bullies at work
• Sometime people are bullies at work because they are insecure about their work or think it's their only way to get ahead of someone.
6. People that are hypocritical
• People that are hypocritical might be that way because they are insecure and are inconsistent to fit in.
7. People that lie
• People sometimes lie to protect themselves or do not trust the people around them 
8. Heavy traffic
• Heavy traffic surges at peak hours, usually it happens when many people get out of work and are trying to go home or vice versa.
9. When it is super hot outside and the building you go into is super cold
• The building is cold because they are trying to keep the building fresh 
10. Ambulances are constantly running by my house
• They are using the fastest route to get to a person in need and I live next to a major road.
11. When someone borrows my car and my seat and mirrors are not set to the ways I had set it
• They might not remember that the car has preset buttons.
12. I have not seen my friends in more than 2 months
• My friends and I are keeping social distance to protect ourselves and our families.
13. When my TV shows are interrupted by so many commercials
• Networks use commercials to raise money to run their network
14. When I go on a trip and my playlists did not download
• There might have been a connection error or the wi-fi was too slow to download all the songs.
15. My neighbors dogs bark at all hours of the day
• My neighbors are home so little so there is no one to stop the dogs from barking
16. Delivery now takes 1.5 hrs to get to me
• Since restaurants are closed and supermarkets are packed do to the 5pm curfew in Guatemala, delivery is in higher demand because it is an easier way to get groceries and food from approved restaurants.
17. When group members do not do their part of the work until very late
• They might have prioritized the work for other classes and could not make time earlier. 
18. Not getting a quick response to an important email
• The recipient might be busy or the email might have gone to their spam 
19. When lines are long
• The time I joined the line was peak hour for the store or place
20. When people cannot say my last name right
• It is not a common last name

Reflection:

Coming up with the list of the 20 things that bug me was not easy. I usually do not think about what bugs me, I just think about it when the "bug" happens and get over it pretty quickly. It was also hard to come up with the reason behind the "bug" because when I get bugged I don't usually reflect on the source or the why of the "bug". This assignment did help me understand what bugs me and the next time something from the list happens I can think of the why so that I might not be as bugged as I usually am.
